Food and Clothing Pantry

The New Life Food and Clothing Pantry serves the Elmhurst community’s homeless and low-income residents with nutritious hot meals, non-perishable food, fresh produce, personal care items and gently-used clothing free of charge.

The Food and Clothing Pantry is Open
Tuesdays 6 pm – 8 pm  &  Saturdays 10 am – 12 noon
Pantry guests can receive food and clothing ONCE a week.

The Homeless Meal Service is Open
Tuesdays, Thursdays 6 pm – 8 pm  &  Saturdays 10 am – 12:30 pm
The homeless meal service is open every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Showers are available in the Health Center (Tues and Sat) and a hot meal is available in the Blue room.

If you would like to help… Donations of food and clothing can be dropped off at the pantry counter any day 9 am – 10 pm. Recommended food items are, canned fruit and vegetables, boxed and packaged dry foods like pasta, cereal, rice, peanut butter and tuna. Good clean used clothing for all ages is needed too. To contribute trays of cooked food and deserts to the homeless meal service, please contact Jeff or bring food donations during Homeless meal operating hours (see above).

We appreciate your financial support to help us purchase low cost food from the Foodbank of NYC and trays of prepared food for the homeless meal service, as well as supplies.
